Conal qualified as a chartered accountant with Sherry McNabola Murray & Co before leaving to work in the corporate finance departments of both Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton, where he gained significant transaction experience. He returned to Sherry McNabola Murray & Co in 2011 to take up a role as audit and advisory director, and was admitted to partnership in 2014.
Conal has given up triathlons in favour of chasing around after his young children, but still manages to fit in the occasional Leinster game.
